Students preparing for the medical entry test were anxiously waiting for the MDCAT date. For all those candidates, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council PMDC has announced the tentative schedule for MDCAT 2024. Now, the students can speed up their studies and preparation accordingly. 

According to PMDC officials, MDCAT 2024 conduct is expected very soon. They have advised the aspirants to prepare for this crucial entry test into medical and dental colleges. MDCAT 2024 Syllabus 

PMDC officials have mentioned that the MDCAT 2024 syllabus is still under review and will be shared on the official website very soon. This announcement has made students a bit relaxed about the MDCAT curriculum. Moreover, the total marks, passing marks, question types, and time duration will be the same. As per last year’s policy, there will be 210 multiple-choice questions. Students will be given 3.5 hours to solve them. 

The minimum passing percentage is 33%. The official announcement of the MDCAT syllabus will help students learn and prepare for the topics needed to be admitted to the desired medical and dental colleges.

MDCAT 2024 Tentative Date

PMDC has not confirmed the MDCAT date for 2024; it is expected to be conducted between the last week of August 2024 and the starting week of September 2024. Students must keep following the PMDC and Test Ki Duniya for the official announcement of MDCAT 2024.

MDCAT Registration Process

After the MDCAT syllabus and test date are announced, PDMC will publish an official post about the entire process from registration to class commencement. An online MDCAT 2024 registration portal will be open, where students can apply using their CNIC. Students can also select the nearest exam center. After getting registered, PMDC sends an admittance card with the complete roll number and center details. 

Keep in mind that once you submit the information, you cannot change it. The admittance card and centre are allocated based on the information you put in. Therefore, it is necessary to enter the correct information and check it twice to avoid any issues at the end.

National Validity of MDCAT Results 2024

PMDC has clearly mentioned that the MDCAT result 2024 for one province will be acceptable all over Pakistan. This decision is taken in accordance with section 17 of the PM&DC Act 2022 to ensure standardization and uniformity in the whole evaluation process.

Moreover, these results are valid for three years from the MDCAT 2024 test date. As the entry test is around the corner, pre-medical students should stay updated on the official announcement and any changes in the curriculum.
