August 13, 2024Lahore board has announced the 9th class first annual examination result 2024 on 9th August, 2024. However, following the higher failure rate this year in the annual examination, BISE Lahore has received thousands of online paper rechecking requests within a few hours.
A total of 287,000 students appeared in the Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education for the ninth-class examination 2024. According to the statistics, 150,000 students failed the 9th class examination on the Lahore board only. This highest failure rate is in the History of Pakistan subject. Only 12.5% of the total students passed through this subject.
The passing rate in General Math is 58%, General Science is 60% and Islamic History is 45%. This year 62% of students passed in Chemistry and 63% passed in Mathematics. 66 percent students passed who appeared in Civics and 69% of students passed through Physics. All those students interested in rechecking paper applications can apply before August 24, 2024. The paper rechecking fee is set at Rs. 1400. This rechecking fee must be paid in the bank and upload the receipt while applying online. Bise Lahore will update the students through their message service about the rechecking date and time.
All candidates must submit the application for rechecking subject or subjects within 15 days of result declaration.
Important Points About Paper Rechecking
If you are applying for the paper rechecking in Bise Lahore, keep these points in mind before submitting fees.
- Rechecking paper does not mean marking paper again. It means recounting the marks and checking if any of your solved questions are left unmarked.
- There is no rule for re-marking the paper under any circumstances. Fees deposited in the bank are non-refundable.
- Your marks may increase or even decrease during the recounting process. You should be mentally prepared for both chances.
Rechecking Rules and Process
Here is the paper rechecking process as per the Board’s rules and regulation:
- Cross-checking the marks mentioned on the title page of the answer copy and the total marks of every section mentioned in the paper.
- Only those questions which were left unmarked will be given marks.
- Only a student can visit the office and see his answer copy.
- The examiner’s marking decision is final. You cannot challenge the marks allotted to you.
- According to the court and the BISE rules, your answer copy will not be examined again.
