September 7, 2024In partnership with the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, the Federal Directorate of Education has announced a new plan to implement evening classes in schools throughout Islamabad.
This action is a component of a broader campaign with the goal of enhancing the enrollment and retention of children who are unable to participate in regular school sessions. The evening classes are structured to cater to children who, for various reasons, cannot attend school during regular hours. This includes children who are employed during the day, have familial obligations, or need extra academic assistance.
This initiative offers these students a flexible academic timetable to ensure they do not miss out on their education. In backing this initiative, schools will provide contemporary amenities such as IT labs, intelligent classrooms, and robotics labs, enabling students to interact with advanced technology and gain practical learning experiences. Additionally, proficient educators will conduct evening classes, and libraries equipped with ample resources will be accessible to cultivate a robust learning atmosphere.
This initiative reflects the Ministry’s broader objective of ensuring education is reachable for all children, irrespective of their situations. The evening classes are a vital move towards establishing a more inclusive educational framework in Islamabad, offering chances for children who might have been overlooked otherwise.
