We have good news for all of them: NUMS has officially released the NMDCAT test date for the session 2024-2025. Now students can register online and submit applications via the NMDCAT NUMS portal.
NUMS takes the medical and dental college admission test every year to grant admissions to all students desiring admission to any medical or dental college in Pakistan. Being a competitive exam, it is always suggested to apply online as soon as possible to avoid the last-moment hassle. NUMS MDCAT Test Date 2024
At the start of this year, PMDC mentioned the tentative date for the NMDCAT 2024. They announced that MDCAT will take place any time between the final week of August and the first few days of September 2024. The date of the NUMS MDCAT is set for September 1, 2024. On Sunday at 10:00 AM, there will be a NUMS MDCAT test. All local exam centers located throughout Pakistan’s cities will hold concurrent administrations of the NUMS admission exam in 2024. Essential Requirements/Eligibility for MDCAT
- The MDCAT NUMS 2024 is open to applicants who are lawful citizens of Pakistan, overseas Pakistanis, dual nationals, or foreign nationals.
- Applicants for MDCAT 2024 must have finished their FSc, HSSC, A-Levels, or 12th grade.
- Candidates who are awaiting their results may also apply for NUMS MDCAT 2024.
- Admission to the MBBS and BDS programs for the 2024–2025 session will only be granted for the NUMS MDCAT 2024, which will be held on September 1, 2024.
How Do I Apply for the 2024 MDCAT?
- Sign up via the NUMS MDCAT website.
- Give your complete name, working email address, working cell phone, etc. to complete the registration process.
- Once you have registered, begin the NUMS MDACT application process.
- To begin with, choose the location where you wish to take the MDCAT exam. For overseas Pakistanis, there are additional test centers available internationally.
- Next, pay the NUMS MDCAT charge using Challan or Kuickpay. The total registration fee is Rs 5,200 for every center in Pakistan.
- Choose the pay fee to move to the payment tab.
- Select a payment option from the following: Internet/Mobile App/OTC, Invoice (Challan), or Debit/Credit card.
- To make a debit or credit card payment, click “Pay Now.” Enter the CVV, card number, and expiration date. Click “Pay now” to finish the transaction.
- To make a payment using an invoice (challan), click “Download Invoice” and print the invoice. Make a deposit at any Askari bank that is closest to you.
- Online, mobile, or over-the-counter payment methods: Click “How to Pay” for online banking instructions. When making a payment at the bank counter or through Internet banking, use your Unique Consumer/Kuickpay ID.
- Return to the MDCAT Home page after making your payment, refresh it to see your updated status, and continue.
- To upload, select “Upload Images”: a passport-sized picture (no selfies please) on a blue backdrop, a crisp front-facing photo of your passport, CNIC, B Form, or NICOP.
- JPG, JPEG, and PNG file formats are accepted, and the size of the image must not exceed 2 MB.
- After saving the uploaded photos, select “Back to Home.”
- Fill out the necessary fields available in personal information.
- Select the exam city/station of your choice.
- Sort the following two cities/stations according to your selection. Depending on the amount of seating, the University may choose a different venue.
- After completing this step, click “Save” and then “Back to Home.”
- After checking the box, select “Submit Application.”
- You will receive a confirmation message right after you submit the application.

Paper Pattern For NUMS MDCAT 2024 Test
There are two sections to the NUMS MDCAT syllabus: Section A and Section B.
Section A: There are 150 multiple-choice questions in NUMS MDCAT part A covering English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. There will be 150 minutes allotted. The following is the percentage of these subjects:

Section B is referred to as the Psychological Assessment. It has a five percent test weighting overall. You will have to answer a total of 100 MCQs. There will be no negative marking and a 30-minute time limit.
NUMS MDCAT Admit Card
Students can obtain their NUMS MDCAT admit card through their webpage. Only registered students will receive their MDCAT admit cards from NUMS at least one week before the exam. Students can use their site to view and download their MDCAT admission cards. The MDCAT (NUMS) 2024–25 timing for International Centers will be shown on the admission card. On the day of the exam, candidates must present both a printed copy of their admit card and their authentic CNIC card. Because test centers close their gates thirty minutes before the MDCAT test, it is advisable to arrive at your exam location one hour early.
