Punjab Honahar Merit Scholarship for Students Launched by CM Maryam on Monday, registration for the program opened to students throughout the province. Each year, 30,000 students from 68 different fields will get scholarships because of this program. Students from 131 graduate schools, 16 medical colleges, and 50 public universities will benefit from the grants. 

Under the Honahar Merit Scholarship, a total of 130 billion rupees will be disbursed over the next four years. It will support 120,000 students financially during their entire academic years. The CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif approved the “Punjab Honahar Merit Scholarship” in July, and she also ordered an increase in the number of scholarships. 

The Chief Minister declared that the scholarships will pay for all tuition for students pursuing BS degrees at public universities and eight carefully chosen private colleges, at a special meeting of the Higher Education Department on Saturday. Maryam emphasized the value of working with the private sector to advance higher education, especially in order to give students from rural areas access to opportunities.
