Deadline for AIOU Admission Applications 

The University of Islamabad campus is offering this AIOU entrance for the autumn of 2024. It is recommended that interested students apply by October 15, 2024, the AIOU admissions date. AIOU 2024 Admissions Criteria

• Regarding BS programs (BA/BSc based) admission is available to candidates with a BA, BSc, or B.Com degree or its equivalent (with at least 45% of the possible points) in any discipline from any university accredited by the HEC. 
• Applications for BS Programs (HSSC-based) may be submitted by candidates with an intermediate or higher secondary school certificate or an equivalent qualification with a second division (at least 45% marks) in any subject from any recognized university.
• In the case of BS programs (ADP based), admission is contingent upon the candidate obtaining an Associate Degree in Library and Information Sciences, or an equivalent degree, with a minimum of 60 credit hours and 50% grades from a recognized university.
• For PG Diplomas programs, candidates must have finished a 14-year Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and earned at least a 2nd division from an institution accredited by the Higher Education Commission.

How to Apply for Admission to AIOU in 2024

• Submit the application processing fee challan at any UBL, MCB, ABL, or FWBL branch after that. Additional payment options include Easypaisa, JazzCash, and other mobile wallet services.

• Once the payment has been made, fill out the application and upload the paid challan to your account. 
• Remove the AIOU address label from the challan form if you are sending a paper copy. Put your application form and a copy of the university’s fee challan in an envelope. 
• Put the AIOU address label on the envelope and mail it to the Pakistan Post Office that is closest to you. Remember that the post office is not allowed to charge you more for processing your application for admission to AIOU. 
• Don’t forget to send in your application. 
• Applications received after the AIOU admission deadline will not be considered before the deadline of October 15, 2024.
